Pumpkins, Ghosts, and Goblins. Oh My!

August 5, 2016

It’s almost HALLOWEEN!

Halloween has always been a favorite for me. I actually met my husband on Halloween in 2010. He was dressed as Ric Flair and I was a pirate. I guess that’s a winning combination?

If you follow me on Instagram (have you done that yet?) you already saw my tribute to my favorite holiday. I’ve been dreaming of a Halloween tattoo sleeve for so long and I finally took the plunge and started it!

Isn’t she sweet? Just standing there all innocent? UGH I love her.

Anyway, this is the time of the year where I have to make a huge decision, way bigger than deciding what to have permanently drawn on my body.

What the hell am I going to be for Halloween?

I have a running list in my phone that has been building for a couple of years now. It includes everything from Disney villains to video game characters, and quite a few horror film options.

Narrowing my list down to one choice is the hardest thing. I go back and forth, ask my husband about a million times, I’ve even had to resort to coin flipping. The reason it’s such a big decision is because I like to hand make all of my costumes! I know I could just buy one from a costume store or from Amazon, but then I wouldn’t get to go bankrupt and poke my finger with a needle 20 thousand times. And wheres the fun in that?

Since I have yet to decide on this year’s costume adventure, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite costumes that I’ve worn in the past. Now, the photos aren’t going to be the best since most of them where taken either post-wine drinking or back in the early 90’s, but I think that’s part of the appeal.

That Flo duckface, tho.

Hopefully you got a good laugh, or maybe some inspiration for this year’s alter-ego. Maybe you’ve already chosen one? If so, I want to hear it!

Until next time, stay spooky errybody.

…Now where did I put my glue gun…..
